Tina commenced her career as a radio reporter and shortly after joined the Channel Ten Eyewitness News team. She became the youngest TV newsreader in Australia at 19 years of age. In 1992 Tina was promoted to be the anchor of Channel Nine's weekday news - a position she held for well over a decade. In December 2002 Tina was offered to anchor news bulletins for Sky News in Sydney, which is broadcast throughout Australia and New Zealand. Between 1996 - 2005 Tina was a foreign correspondent for Channel News Asia in Australia. She has also trained on-air TV news anchors in presentation technique for Channel News Asia and Singapore's Media Academy. Tina also relishes her role as casual TV presenter for the Channel 7 Network. She's also hosted and co produced a popular travel series - Channel 7's Wonders of Western Australia - showcasing the beauty and richness of Australia's largest state. One of W.A's most sought after M.C's and motivational speakers, Tina has hosted many premier events Australia-wide and internationally including the Australian Industry and Export Awards; Nobel Peace Award Winners Ceremony; Amex Gold Plate; Singapore/ Australia Day Ball; Australian Entrepreneur of the Year; Western Australia Business Woman of the Year; and the American Express Tower Club Singapore Wine Awards. In 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2002 Tina was voted one of Australia's leading TV Newsreaders in the Clear Speech Awards. She's passionate about the business of communication. She enjoys her role as Patron of Nulsen Haven, an association caring for the needs of adults with profound disabilities. Tina also takes pride in being an ambassador for one of Australia's most loved and long standing children's charity - Channel 7's Telethon.
